Community tags
A short community tag after your name — in group chats, calls and on your bio page.
A community tag is a short label after your name, like in Discord: for example, Olena ⚡AZOV. The community sets the tag, and followers decide whose tag to wear.
Where the tag shows up
- in group chats — next to your name above messages and in the member list;
- in calls — next to your name on your participant tile, in the "Participants" list and on an incoming call;
- on your bio page — after your name (see Bio page).
Hover over a tag to see which community it belongs to, and click it to open that community’s page. During a call, the call window shrinks to the corner so you can see the page.
Setting a community tag
The tag is set by the community owner or an administrator:
- Open the community page and click "Manage".
- In the "Main information" block, fill in the "Tag:" field. Paste an emoji or pick one with the smiley button on the right of the field.
- Click "Save".
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Length | up to 5 characters |
| Allowed | letters, digits, symbols, emoji |
| Not allowed | spaces |
An emoji counts as one character — even a combined one like 👨👩👧. A preview under the field shows how the tag will look after a name. To remove the tag, clear the field and save — it disappears for all followers.
Choosing your tag
- Open "Edit profile" (on a phone — profile editing on your profile).
- In the "Community tag" field, pick a community — the list only shows communities you follow that have a tag.
- Click "Save".
You can wear one tag at a time. To remove it, choose "No tag".
If you unfollow the community or it removes its tag, the label disappears on its own.
