Deleting your page

How to delete your page and restore it within 30 days.

You can delete your page yourself. It is not gone for good right away: for 30 days you can bring it back with one button.

How to delete the page

1. Open “Settings” and go to the “Security” section.
2. In the “Page deletion” block, click “Delete my page”.
3. Enter your current password and click “Delete page”.

What happens after deletion

• The page disappears for other people right away: they cannot open it, find it in search or message you.
• You see the “Page deleted” screen with the date until which it can be restored.
• Your posts, photos and messages are kept for now — in case you change your mind.

How to restore

Log in with the same email and password and click “Restore page”. Everything comes back as it was: friends, posts, photos, messages.

After 30 days

If the page is not restored within 30 days, it is deleted permanently together with its posts, photos and messages. It cannot be brought back after that. Communities you owned stay, but without an owner.

A site administrator cannot delete their page until they hand their rights over to someone else.
