Market

Items from people and community shops: cart, ratings and reviews, specifications, bulk import.

Market is the menu section for buying and selling things. You can sell under your own name or on behalf of a community — its products then make up the community's shop.

Home page

• Categories — a strip of categories you can scroll sideways (mouse wheel, finger or arrows). All categories opens the Catalog.
• Shops — a strip of community shops that have products, with the shop's rating and number of products. Communities without products aren't shown here.
• Tabs: All items, Auction, Bookmarks and My listings.

Categories, subcategories and sections

The catalog has three levels: category → subcategory → section. For example Spare parts → Suspension → Shock absorbers.

• Catalog in the header: categories on the left, the selected category's subcategories with their sections on the right. On a phone, tap a category to open its subcategories; Catalog at the top takes you back.
• On a category page, subcategories are listed on the left; the selected subcategory shows its sections underneath. On a phone, subcategories and sections are two rows of buttons above the products.
• A subcategory also shows the products from all of its sections.
• Next to the list are Filters: price, Availability, condition and Sort by (including Top rated).

Can't find the right category? Click Suggest a category — in the Catalog, in the category list or in the listing form (Can’t find one? Suggest a category). You can suggest a new category, a subcategory of an existing category or a section of a subcategory. Until the team reviews it, only you can see it; once approved, it appears in the catalog for everyone.

Selling an item

1. Click Create listing.
2. If you manage a community, pick Myself or Shop “…” in the Post as field.
3. Fill in the title, category, Subcategory and, if it has sections, Section, plus the price and city.
   • Price reduced? Enter the Old price — it's crossed out on the card with the discount in percent next to it.
   • Photos — up to 10: Add photo or drag files into the form. They show up in the form right away. The first photo is the Main one shown on the item card; to make another one main, hover over it and click Make main, or drag it to the first place. The cross removes a photo.

5. Add Specifications — any "name — value" pairs, up to 40 (the name field suggests common ones: brand, model, color, size, material and so on): Add specification, Paste a list (lines like "Name: value" or two columns copied from a spreadsheet) or From file (CSV or TXT).
6. Click Publish listing.

Community shop

Products posted on behalf of a community belong to its shop. The community's owner, admins and editors can edit them and see their orders under Orders → My sales. Buyers see the shop's name.

The shop page in Market shows the avatar, rating, followers, a Follow button, contacts and addresses, and the Market and Reviews tabs. Managers also get Add product and Import there.

The community page itself shows a strip of its products (Show all opens the shop), a Shop reviews card with the rating, contacts — phone, website and city — and this shop's cart. If there are no contacts, managers see a reminder: Add shop contacts.

Cart

Click Add to cart on a product page (you can set the Quantity next to it). Each seller has a separate cart: Place an order orders all of that seller's items at once with one delivery address. After that it works like a regular order.

Ratings and reviews

You can rate from 1 to 5 stars and write a review:

• for a product — the Product reviews block on the product page;
• for a shop — the Reviews tab on the shop page;
• for a seller who sells under their own name — the Reviews tab on their Market page (open it from the About the seller block).

Each review shows the rating, text and date. Next to them is the Average rating with a breakdown by stars; sort reviews by Newest first, Positive first or Negative first. The seller or shop manager can Reply under a review.

You can't rate your own product, your own shop or yourself. One review per person: a new one replaces the old one, and you can edit or delete it.

Product page

Photos — thumbnails on the left and a large photo next to them; on a phone, swipe through the photos. Click a photo to open it full screen, then use the arrows (or ← → keys) and close with the cross or Esc. At the top right is Share: on a phone it opens the share menu, on a computer it copies the link.

Below are the price (with a discount if the seller set an old price), rating, availability, quantity, the Add to cart, Order and Message seller buttons, the Description with the item ID and Specifications — the first few, the rest under All specifications — and reviews. At the bottom is the About the seller block: the shop or person with their rating, a Visit shop button and a strip of More from this shop or More from this seller.

Importing a product list

To post many products at once, use Import products in the Market header or Import on the shop page.

• Formats: CSV (from Excel or Google Sheets — "Save as CSV UTF-8") and JSON. Up to 1000 products at a time.
• The first CSV row holds column names in English, Ukrainian or Russian: title, price, currency (UAH or USD), category (code or name), subcategory (subcategory, section or both separated by >: Suspension > Shock absorbers), section (section in its own column), condition (new/used), stock (in_stock, low, one), city, description, image (photo link).
• Any other column becomes a specification: a Color column with the value red gives the specification "Color — red".
• Download template gives you a sample file. Before publishing you see which rows are ready, and afterwards a report on skipped rows with the reason.
• Photos are downloaded from their links. If that fails, the product is posted without a photo — add one later when editing.
