Online status
How to tell that someone is on the site right now, and which device they use.
A person is online if they were active on MRIYU in the last 5 minutes. Their page then shows online to the right of the name, and their photo in friend and chat lists gets a mark.
Which device
Just like VK used to, the mark shows where the person came from:
| Mark | From |
|---|---|
| Green dot | A browser on a computer |
| Green phone | A phone — the site in a phone browser |
| Green apple | An iPhone |
| Green monitor | The App for Windows |
Hover over the mark to see a hint, for example «Online from iPhone». The same icon appears next to the status on the person's page and in the conversation header in Messenger.
If someone moves from a computer to a phone, the mark changes as soon as they open anything on the site.
