Photos and albums

Albums, archive, photos on a map and viewing photos from posts.

Photos in the left menu keeps all your pictures in one place.

Photos and albums

• The Photos tab has all your pictures, the Albums tab your albums.
• Upload photos adds new pictures.
• System albums fill in by themselves: "Profile photo", "Wall photos", "Saved photos".
• Create your own album on the Albums tab.

The "More" menu

• Archive — hidden photos only you can see.
• Show on map — photos by where they were taken, if your phone or camera recorded it.
• Photo comments — all comments on your pictures.
• Select multiple — move, archive or delete several photos at once.

Viewing photos from posts

Click a photo in a post — on a wall, in the feed or in a community. A large window opens: the photo on the left, the author, likes and comments on the right. On a phone it is the same in one column: the photo on top, likes, shares and comments below.

• Flip through photos with the on-screen arrows or the ← → keys.
• Share — send the photo in a private message or add it to your story.
• Save to my photos — the photo goes to your "Saved photos" album.
• More — open the original or report the photo.
