Settings and menu
Settings sections, the appearance preview, your own menu order and the country in your profile.
Open Settings from the menu under your photo (on a computer) or from the Menu section (on a phone). Everything is grouped by topic — the list of sections on the left, their content on the right.
Sections

| Appearance | Preview — a post and messages that show right away how the site will look. Below it: theme, colours, font, chat and page look — see Make it yours. |
| Account | Your page address, Edit profile, Language, the Windows and Android apps, Accessibility. |
| Feed and content | Post and comment order, post translation, the profanity filter, autoplay for videos, music and GIFs, sticker suggestions. |
| Page and communities | What your profile shows first, turning comments off and commenting on behalf of a community. |
| Security | Email, password, phone number, logging out and deleting your page. |
| Privacy | Who sees your page, posts and photos, and who can message you. |
| Notifications | Which notifications you get on the site and by email. |
| Blacklist | People you have blocked. |
Changes are saved right away — there is no Save button here.
Your own menu order
You can tailor the left menu:
- On the site, move the cursor just left of any menu item and click the gear. In the Windows app, use the Customize menu button below the list of sections.
- In the Menu items window, untick the sections you don't need.
- To change the order, drag an item by the dots on the left or use the Move up / Move down arrows.
- Click Save.
You can hide any item except News. The order also applies on your phone, in the Menu section. To go back to the default, click Reset order.
In the Windows app the first item is My Page with your photo — your profile is one click away. Don't need it? Hide it or move it lower.
Country in your profile
In Edit profile → Contacts you now pick the country from a list. If you set, say, Japan and the city Tokyo, clicking the city on your profile opens the Tokyo page labelled «Japan», not «Ukraine».
