Phone number
Why we need your number, how to confirm it with an SMS code and how to change it.
Every page on MRIYU is linked to a mobile phone number. This protects accounts from hacking and the site from bots and fake pages. Only you can see your number: it is never shown on your page or in search.
Which numbers are accepted
Mobile numbers from three countries:
| Country | Code | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Ukraine | +380 | +380 50 123 45 67 |
| Poland | +48 | +48 512 345 678 |
| Germany | +49 | +49 151 2345678 |
One number can be linked to only one page.
When signing up
- After your name and date of birth, click “Sign up”.
- Enter your email, phone number, page address and password. Pick the country to the left of the number.
- Click “Create page” — we’ll text a six-digit code to your number.
- Enter the code and click “Confirm”. The code is valid for 10 minutes.
If you signed up earlier
Until your number is linked, a “Link your phone number.” strip is shown under the site header.
- Click “Link number” — “Settings” opens on the “Security” section.
- Pick the country, enter the number and click “Get code”.
- Enter the code from the SMS and click “Confirm”. The strip disappears.
How to change the number
“Settings” → “Security” → “Phone number”: click your number, enter a new one and confirm it with the SMS code. The old number is unlinked.
If the SMS doesn’t arrive
- Check that the number is correct and is a mobile number from Ukraine, Poland or Germany.
- You can request a new code after a minute — the “Resend code” button.
- One number can receive at most 5 texts a day. If you’ve hit the limit, try again tomorrow.
- Still stuck? Write to us via Report: an administrator can confirm your number manually.
Never share the SMS code with anyone — not even people who say they are site administrators.
